State-of-the-art
Our college is regarded as one of the most innovative and developmental of its kind.
We provide excellent resources, equipment and accommodation, including state-of-the-art
facilities, over 1,000 computers and well-equipped classrooms and laboratories.
Equipment and resources throughout the college are geared to industry-standard,
allowing students to become familiar with the current equipment and technology used
in industry and commerce.
The college food halls provide quality food and service for students based at the
Finnart, Waterfront and North Ayrshire campuses. Students studying at the Finnart
campus also benefit from the Ambition Restaurant and the internet cafe,
e-Kafe, run by our own Scottish Centre of Hospitality.

- Hair
and Beauty Treatments
Students and visitors to the Finnart and North Ayshire campuses can book in for
hair and beauty treatments ranging from styling, cutting and perming through to
manicures, facials and massage. Treatments are carried out by students enabling
them to gain practical experience on real clients.
- Training Restaurants
Students studying at the Finnart
campus also benefit from the Ambition Restaurant and the state-of-the-art internet
cafe run by our own Scottish Centre of Hospitality. Both Ambition Restaurant and e-Kafe are open to the community to book tables too.
- Nursery
There is a nursery in both the Finnart and North Ayrshire campuses for children between the ages of three and five. Highly qualified and capable staff care for the children in a secure and stimulating environment, providing learning experiences in relation to the Scottish Government Early Years Curriculum.
- Learning Centre
The Learning Centres at the Finnart, North Ayrshire and Waterfront campuses offer a wide range of resources designed to optimise the learning experience. Open to students and the local community.

Support Needs
The college has modern facilities for students who are physically disabled or have
mobility problems.
- Adult
Resource Centre (ARC)
The ARC has been specifically designed and equipped to meet the needs of students
with a visual impairment, physical disability or mental health problem. This
excellent resource provides students with a drop-in facility, access to specialist
technology and supportive staff.
