Facilities For Those With Additional Support Needs
Summary: About the facilities available for students who may require additional support.
Finnart Campus
Accommodation needs and access for students with additional support needs
is constantly under review. At present students who are physically disabled or who
have mobility problems can gain access into the main teaching block via Newton Street
where five on-street parking lots are reserved for disabled persons. Alternatively,
access is also available via the ramp on Finnart Street where three on-street parking
lots are available.
Once inside the teaching block, the lifts provide access to the teaching area.
In the main teaching block accessible toilet facilities for both male and female
students are situated on concourse level. A unisex accessible toilet is located
within the workshop block.
