teaching staff have spent years developing our international students to their full
potential, helping them to achieve their qualifications and absorb as much experience
of life in another country as possible.
English Language Support
James Watt College offers an wide range of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) programmes for International Students. These courses are designed to prepare overseas students for further study at college or to prepare for entry to Higher Education. Up-to-date Equipment
The college has invested heavily in new technology, allowing students to
become proficient in the highest levels of hardware and software available. In fact,
all course related equipment is completely up-to-date and concurrent with industry
standard in the workplace.
Study Support
When it comes to study support, you can be assured that you have unrestricted
access to a massive resource of information. There are libraries at each campus
where you will find an extensive collection of study materials such as books, periodicals,
videos and CD-ROMs. And, of course, our many computers are internet linked where
you can access Web based information and use e-mail to keep in touch with home.
There are also photocopiers, video monitors and computerised catalogues for sourcing
publications and students are welcome to use the facilities at any campus.
