Summary: About the other facilities and services from The Hub Learning Centre at James Watt College.
The Hub features an extensive and up-to-date collection of resources such as books, and periodicals, videos and CD-roms, to help you work through your college course. You will also find a generous provision of computers, which are linked to the Internet. There are also photocopiers, video / DVD monitors and computerised catalogues to help you find the books you need and access to Moodle.
Computing Facilities
There are 28 PCs at the Finnart Campus, 38 PCs and 2 apple Macs at the Kilwinning Campus, 7 PCs at the Waterfront Campus and 12 PC’s at the Largs Campus. These PCs can be booked at the The Hub desks in Finnart and Kilwinning Campuses if required. Specialist software for some courses is available – please ask at the desk.
There are also "open access" PCs available at various locations - more information can be found at each Hub.
