best known of all of Ayrshire’s towns, with a reputation for its coastal scenery
and beautiful surroundings. For those who enjoy the great outdoors Largs is the
perfect place, with a wide range of outdoor pursuits available throughout the year
- from sailing and golf to cycling and walking and much, much more.
A unique setting
As an area with a lively tourist trade, there is an amazingly wide range of restaurants,
coffee shops, cafes and bars. Indeed, the world-famous Nardini’s, an art-deco style
café on the Esplanade, renowned for its delicious ice-cream, provides a unique setting
for both visitors and locals alike.
Explore the west coast
A ferry service to the nearby island of Millport provides a perfect day trip, while
sailings to Dunoon, Rothesay and Tighnabruich allow exploration of areas further
afield.
