Learner Support Centres

Our Learner Support Centres in Greenock and North Ayrshire provide information, advice and guidance to anyone considering coming to college and offers a wide range of services to support students during their studies. With a team of advisers and information assistants, there is always someone available to offer guidance and advice.

Choosing the right course
It is vitally important that you choose the right course for you. If you're uncertain which course to take, speak to one of our Student Advisers, who can talk through your future career plans with you. They will also give you impartial information on all the different courses, allowing you to make an informed decision before you accept a place with us.

Funding your course
If you are worried or unsure about the financial implications of coming to college, the Learner Support Centre can also offer you advice and assistance on a variety of financial and funding related matters. Please contact them on either of the numbers below to arrange to discuss the financial help that may be available to you.

  • Pre-entry advice and guidance plus scheduled Information Sessions
  • Careers advice
  • Funding information and advice
  • On Course guidance
  • UCAS support and assistance
  • Pre-exit advice and guidance – CV’s, mock interviews etc
  • Welfare support and guidance
  • Mentoring
  • Halls of Residence information and welfare support
  • Support for Learning information and advice
  • SAAS attendance confirmation
  • Child Protection advice and guidance

Opening hours
The Learner Support Centres are open between 8.50am and 4.50pm, Monday to Friday and at the North Ayrshire Campus only until 9.00pm Tuesday & Thursday during term time.
